Deu boro dis dium travel enthusiasts,
There is officially less than one week until I turn twenty… four days to be precise!
The journey has already begun and I am writing to you all the way from Goa, India, my home. I travelled from Melbourne to Mumbai, via Singapore, and after two nights flew to Goa. It is currently monsoon season and the environment is stunning. The downfall are the mosquitoes – they have already bitten me 20x 🙁
So far, I have experienced the São João Festival, which I aim to write a separate blog about, and it was incredibly fun. I was lucky enough to arrive just in time when the village walked into our home to sing and jump into our well.
Today is two of my nana’s sister’s birthday and we’re about to have a lovely party to celebrate them! The food has been ordered from Florentine’s Bar & Restaurant, and I can’t wait to have their chicken cafreal after many years.
